Care Alternatives currently has an opening for a Full-time Hospice RN Regional Manager for our Southwest Team.  Our Southwest Team covers Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester, Mercer, and Salem counties.

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Operations, the Regional Manager will be responsible for the implementation, delivery, coordination and clinical/administrative supervision of direct clinical services provided to patients and families; coordination of regional IDT and required compliance; and the effective, efficient use of resources in the clinical setting consistent with Care Alternatives' policies and procedures.  Will act as clinical mentor to RNs, LPNs, SWs, CHaplains, and CHHAs.  Will work with all departments and business development staff to ensure delivery of quality care and census growth.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Supervise members of clinical team (RN, LPN, SW, Chaplain, CHHA).
  • Provide leadership and counsel to clinical personnel to enhance staff development.
  • Identify need for staff education.
  • Work with scheduling department to arrange team coverage for on-call and staff time off.
  • Participate and provide leadership in the team for regular IDT meetings.
  • Engage relevant referral sources as appropriate within team territory and coordinates with regional Community Education Liaisons regarding client issues and growth opportunities.         

Job Requirements:

 To be considered for this position you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Active RN license in New Jersey.
  • BSN and two years combined public health nursing and progressive professional responsibilities in public health nursing; or three years combined public health nursing and progressive professional responsibilities in public health nursing.
  • A minimum of 2 years field supervisory or management experience.
  • Hospice experience.
  • Must have strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license. Reliable transportation, and willingness to travel within region .

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare or Marketing; Master’s preferred.
  • Three (3) – six (6) years in senior multi-market business development role in healthcare setting.
  • Ability to effectively manage, motivate and influence various interdisciplinary team members within the organization to achieve the measurable business development outcomes.
  • Direct multi-market business development experience in home care, hospice, skilled nursing, assisted living, acute care, or community health environment.
